Here is a description of condition terms:

New/Like New – these books have either never been read or look as if they’ve not been read.

Excellent – these books have very minimal wear, no major blemishes, tight bindings

Very Good – these books may have minor wear, slight soiling, tight bindings, clean pages

Good – books in this category have moderate wear, possibly foxing, bindings maybe slightly loose but intact, etc.  I will often err on the safe side and put a book in this category when it could easily be listed as “very good.”

Fair/Reading Copy Only -  these books have heavy wear, maybe stains, loose bindings, some pages possibly torn, but the book is intact and still good reading left.
